The Rebirth of a Land
Two abandoned farmhouses, nestled in the quietude and peace of an Umbrian hillside, now stand as the pulsating heart of the Estate. Situated within the municipality of Ficulle, the property stretches across approximately 6 hectares, embracing an exceptional mosaic of nature and cultivation. Vineyards, olive groves, and a majestic oak forest alternate, painting a landscape that celebrates the biodiversity and untouched beauty of the region.
At an elevation between 450 and 500 metres above sea level, with a climate characterised by low humidity, the estate’s soil offers the ideal conditions for cultivating vines and olive trees. Rich in clay and nutrients, the earth bestows upon its agricultural produce a distinctive character and authenticity. Here, under the Umbrian sun, and thanks to the significant thermal variations, the grapes and olives ripen slowly, developing complex aromas and unforgettable fragrances.
The Art of Wine
The 5 hectares dedicated to vineyards are home to traditional varieties that tell the story of the land, such as Shiraz, as well as international varieties like Cabernet Franc, which, in this time of climate change, find here a terroir with potential yet to be fully explored.
Green Gold
Adjacent to the vineyards, the olive grove stands as another cornerstone of the Estate. Indigenous varieties such as Moraiolo and Leccino are harvested and processed with methods that honour both tradition and the environment. The result is an extra virgin olive oil that stands apart for its organoleptic profile: a bouquet of herbaceous aromas, a harmonious flavour with notes of artichoke and almond, and a peppery finish that accentuates its freshness, culminating in a Reserve of exceptional value.
